Why do I see zero search results?
A. If ShotSearch displays search results but Twitter doesn't, these are the reasons why:
● The post or its author was deleted or edited.
● The author has a private account.
● The post in the screenshot is fake.
● We made a mistake when creating your search result.
B. If you see "No posts detected," these are the reasons why:
● You uploaded a screenshot from a website or app that ShotSearch cannot read.
● The image is too small, blurry, sideways, or has something blocking the text.
● We made a mistake when reading the screenshot.
Please know we're constantly working to improve ShotSearch to provide the best user experience.
Which social media platforms can ShotSearch search?
We can only search screenshots from Twitter (now called X), but we're adding support for Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, Tumblr, Threads, and more.

Why doesn't ShotSearch link directly to the post(s) in my screenshot?
There are technical reasons why we cannot directly link to the posts in your screenshot, but we are exploring ways to add this feature in the future.
Does ShotSearch keep the screenshots I search?
No, we do not save the images or links that our users search.
